CVOR

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care.

• Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient's needs.
• Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Develops, implements, and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
• Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
• Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
• Manages care of patients.
• Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
• Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
• Provides patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Must work 2 of 3 holidays. Denote all RTO on submission.

Manager will take either 7a-5:30p x 3 shifts and one 7a-3p shift for 4 day work week = 37.5 hrs OR 7a-7:30p x three shifts.

Block/special scheduling cannot be accommodated unless approved at time of booking; RTO Must be included with submission.

CVOR

Main OR for primarily Ortho & General cases.

On-call 24 hours SAT/SUN (one weekend per month), on-call 8 hour shift 2 weekdays either 3-11 or 11-7.

• BLS Required.
• 2.5 Years of OR experience required.
• Circulate required; Scrub is preferred.
• Types of Cases/Experience Required: Valve replacement, coronary artery bypass, TAVR, Dissection, transplant, VATs. Main OR: Strong experience in General and Ortho, Standard cardiac (Cabg, AVR, MVR), TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, Heart transplant, Lung transplant, VATs, VADs. Transplant experience (at least heart transplant), Standard Endovascular (TCAR, TEVAR, fistulogram).
• Must have Endovascular, vascular experience (i.e., Endovascular AAA, carotid endarterectomy, arteriogram, angiogram, trans carotid artery revascularization (TCAR), AV fistula, Fem-Pop bypass).
• Charting System: EPIC/OR Manager (PICIS).
• First Time Traveler's Accepted.
• Scrubs provided.
