JOB SUMMARY:
Supports the operation of the Plant daily learning/understanding how established targets are met and exceeded; ensures all packing schedules are attained, products are received timely and accurately, products are shipped timely and accurately, and the warehouse stays in a state of good standing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: – Other duties may be assigned:
• Accurately and efficiently performs all assigned procedures – including receiving, shipping, distribution, material handling, picking, and goods movement.
• Professionally and effectively communicate issues to leadership.
• Willingness and ability to support business needs including overtime.
• Actively participates in all change management/lean transformation activities.
• Responsible for assuring safety and quality in all actions
The role, including all day-to-day tasks and responsibilities, should therefore be executed while adhering to all applicable Safety and Quality Management policies, procedures, and requirements to ensure an optimal level of safety and quality in both our products and services.
• Additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• HS diploma or local equivalent
• 2 years' experience in warehouse/shipping setting preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
• Time management
• Organizational skills
• Team player
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Basic Computer Literacy
• Ability to lift 30 lbs.
Mostly warehouse/shipping/receiving/inventory background preferred and experience with forklift would be great to have.
